Aloha! I’m Kiana Marie Sele, the founder and designer behind Lānalu Swim.

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Kaua‘i, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the ocean, the land, and the strong community that raised me. In 2024, we created Lānalu Swim with a simple but powerful mission: to design swimwear that empowers every woman to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful just as she is.

At Lānalu, we’re not just about bikinis. We’re about how you feel in them. Our pieces are designed to move with you whether you're chasing waves, chasing toddlers, or simply soaking up the sun. Every style is crafted to support and celebrate the real you.

As a mom, I know how hard it can be to find swimwear that actually fits, feels good, and makes you feel confident especially with everything our bodies go through. That’s why I created Lānalu. Our pieces are made to move with you, support you, and feel amazing on your skin whether you're running after your kids, diving into the ocean, or just taking a moment for yourself. We use soft, stretchy fabrics that feel like a second skin, and all of our materials are certified free of harmful substances because your comfort and health matter.

Why Lānalu?

The name Lānalu comes from two Hawaiian words: lā, which means “sun,” and nalu, which means “wave.” Together, they remind me of that magical moment when sunlight dances across the ocean a symbol of serenity, strength, and natural beauty. To me, it’s more than just a name it’s a feeling. Lānalu is about being confident, strong, and effortlessly yourself.
